Texas native ZZ Hill began his professional career in 1965, but soon after joining Malaco in 1982, he became the savior of black music at the time with the long-selling hit "Down Home Blues". This was his fifth album for the label, and in addition to songs by George Jackson and Dennis LaSalle, "Get A Little, Give A Little" by Jimmy Lewis was a #85 R&B hit. 1983. First CD release in Japan. Supervised by Shinichi Iwama (Super Cry Inc.). Includes commentary and uses the original jacket.
